Re: [ParanoidTimes] 5 Giant Leaps for Robotkind: Autonomous Weapons ?

With mass production or self replication and without the burden of supporting any humans, there will be no tactical disadvantages for most autonomous weapons to be highly suicidal. Units will be small and can mass together to take on larger sized targets. This can be expressed mathematically. B-(A X C) B being the value of what is destroyed by suicidal attack. A being the loss of the attacker by suicidal attack. C being the ratio of total resources / productive capacity of power B over the same for power A. Generally if this formula gives a negative number the attack is favorable for the suicidal attacker. This formula shows us that assets, including production assets, will need to be greatly reduced in size and dispersed in suicidal robotic warfare compared to today.
