This underground inner sanctum is very difficult to reach The northern region is surrounded by the Arctic Ocean, where the water is 13,400 feet (4,084 meters) deep and usually covered with drifting ice 6-to-10 feet (1.8 to 3 m) thick. During the summer, there is sunlight all day; during the winter, it is always dark (the height of Santa's perverse operations). Compass readings are unreliable here since all point North.
Only a special genetically bred group of horse-like lucent animals can survive and navigate in this environment.
No one knows precisely who the Whistle blower of Santa Claus's location at the North Pole was, but many identify American political illustrator Thomas Nast as officially discovering his conglomerate in 1866.* Nast was also involved with Boss" Tweed and the Tammany Hall political machine at that time; this should be investigated.
